A limiting belief is a state of mind or belief about yourself that restricts you in some way
This can be about your age, time, prejudice, fear of rejection, personal traits or anything of that sort. A limiting belief can stop you from doing what you want in life, negative cycles are made up of beliefs that prevent you from moving forward, and limiting beliefs take away the possibility of possibilities.
Our brains are hard hardwired to protect us, they are not built for success. That’s why it’s so important to challenge these thoughts and feelings that don’t serve us because facts and beliefs have no relation to each other.
Challenge that thought or feeling and ask yourself
“What evidence do I have that this limiting belief is true?”
Then replace your limiting belief with a positive one… I know it’s not always easy! but it’s all about taking the first step, through repetition you will start to change your paradigm then you’ll be able to start to say:
“I can” or “I will” instead of “I can’t” or “I’m not able to”
Your thoughts and actions pave the road for good things to happen, so start today.
